Xiaomi has launched teh Mi Max in China at a price of RBM 1,499 (Rs 15,336).
The Mi Max is rightfully named so for the 6.44-inch HD screen and 4,850 mAh battery packed in to a 203 grams and 7.5 mm thin metal -body smartphone.
The base model of the phone also sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650.
The phone has a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage that’s expandable by microSD card.
There’s a 16MP PDAF camera on the back and a 5MP front camera on the front.
To unlock the phone quicker, there is a rear fingerprint sensor.
It supports the 4G Dual SIM with dual standby.
As a standard, the Infrared port makes an appearance on the phone and works with the Mi Remote app for controlling appliances from hundreds of brands.
Xiaomi also launched the latest iteration of their real flagship product, MIUI 8 for Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4c, Mi 4S, Mi 5, and Mi Max. However, only the Chinese version of the ROM has been announced and the Global ROM should be announced in the coming days. The new ROM lets you lock notes and unlock via the fingerprint sensor. Also, the new Gallery app has more photo editing and doodling features. The Power Saving mode also gets a revamp with more efficient handling of background apps.
