Social media went into a frenzy on Friday after a tweet by a top Microsoft professional claiming that a Nokia phone he designed saved a man’s life in Afghanistan.

Peter Skillman, Microsoft’s General Manager of Core UX for Windows Desktop, Tablet and Phone, tweeted a photo that showed a bullet lodged in a Nokia 310, one of the many phone models by the Finnish manufacturer. The phone reportedly prevented the bullet from causing any injury.

Nokia phones have a reputation for their durability and toughness – something that has inspired many spoofs and internet memes.
