OnePlus 2 gets a permanent price cut in India

OnePlus 2 prices slashed in India. The 16 GB version of the phone now costs Rs 20,999, while the 64 GB version is now available for Rs 22,999.

Here’s some good news! Chinese manufacturer OnePlus has announced a permanent price cut for its much-acclaimed OnePlus 2 flagship launched last year. The price cut applies to both 16 GB and 64 GB variants of the smartphone , which are now available for Rs 20,999 and Rs 22,999 respectively. Both models are getting a permanent price cut of Rs 2,000 and can now be purchased without an invite from Amazon India.

With OnePlus 2, the company built a device that offers incredible value with a spec sheet that is at par with most of the high-end devices. The dual-SIM smartphone rocks a 5.5-inch full-HD display, a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 bundled with 4GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a fingerprint scanner and a 3,300 mAh battery. In other company related news, OnePlus co-founder recently said that their upcoming flagship will feature a ‘new design’ and will be announced by June this year. Rumours suggest that the OnePlus 3 will be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and USB Type-C.
