Apple's new iPhones, the 6S and the 6S Plus will go on sale in over a dozen countries including the United States on September 25. Unfortunately, India does not feature in that list. Apple is expected to launch both phones in India in the second week of October with a starting price of Rs. 65,000, but if you're willing to shell out over Rs. 1 lakh, you might be able to pick them up from the Indian grey market just a couple of days after the US launch.
"The price will be around Rs 1 lakh initially, but it will come down after the company announces the official launch date. We have started getting enquiries," a mobile store owner the Mumbai's Heera Panna market told the Economic Times. It turns out that the brand new Rose Gold model is the most popular and is expected to fetch around Rs. 10-15,000 more than the other variants.
Would you pay these prices to get the new iPhones early?
