The Apple iPhone SE smartphone with a 4-inch Retina screen and 12 MP iSight camera will be available in India starting April 8, in 3,000 Redington retail outlets across the country.
The latest member of the iPhone family trumps the iPhone 6 in terms of everything except for screen size. It has the latest 12 MP iSight camera found on iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. As a result, it also supports the Live Photos feature, Retina Flash and 4K video recording. But sadly, it skips the 3D touch exclusive to them. The latest iPhone also supports Apple Pay via a built-in NFC chip. The new iPhone will be available in rose gold too.
The new iPhone with a 4-inch screen called the iPhone SE costs $399 for a 16 GB version, and $499 for the 64 GB version. The phone will initially launch in 12 countries, but not in India, on March 24.
According to Apple, “ The iPhone SE will be available in space grey, silver, gold and rose gold metallic finishes in 16GB and 64GB models starting at Rs 39,000 from Apple Authorised Resellers.”
