A leaked document titled — Android 6.0 update guide — revealed that the Samsung flagships (S6, Edge, Note) will receive the much awaited Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in coming months.

After it’s official October release, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow will finally hit Samsung’s flagship devices. It’s a bit late to the party with Nexus, Android One and Motorola devices as they are already running the update.

The Marshmallow update is expected to make the phones more power-efficient with nifty features like Doze. The Google Now on Tap feature will let you search information related to text and images on any screen by long-pressing the home button. The share menu also gets smarter with relevant suggestions and app permissions get easier to manage.
