Apple is not used to leaks before its launch events but this is the second time it is happening in two months.
Just a few hours before Apple is expected to launch its new range of MacBooks after a gap of nearly 17 months, rumours are out that the company is doing away with the function keys and will integrate a new OLED touch bar in its place.
According to leaked images, the MacBook Pro seems to have gone under a design overhaul for the keyboard to include the new OLED bar.
The company, which is expected to make the announcements in just over a few jours, is expected to launch a redesigned MacBook Pro, a 13-inch MacBook or maybe the new MacBook Air and rumoured new 5K iMacs.
The Cupertino-headquartered company is also expected to ditch the USB 3.) ports and bring USB Type-C ports. But that is going to create some controversy as Apple iPhone 7 comes with lightning cables with a USB port at one end.
The new MacBooks are also expected to be slimmer, faster and to have better graphics capability. Apple is expected to release two editions of the laptops in terms of sizess -- 13 and 15 inch variants.
Reports have also hinted that the MacBook Pro will feature four USB-C ports and a headphone jack. According to KGI securities, Apple is reported to do away with MagSafe connector, HDMI port and SD card slot. While the leaked image does confirm the Magic Toolbar with support for Touch ID, it also shows the flatter keyboard.
