Snapdeal has rolled out its revamped app for Android, which is also expected to arrive on iOS by Saturday.
The app now features a redesigned ‘Search’ section, which now shows listings with clear pricing, discounts and product information. The redesigned app also gets a new colour scheme that also aids finding products easily.
Snapdeal’s redesigned app also gets features like Visual Search, which essentially allows users pick a colour and use it for a range of categories such as clothing, footwear and watches. All in all, the layout appears really clean making it much more user friendly.
“This is the update on which we will be doing our entire set of annual launches and you will now see a better post-order customer experience that rolls out on this, along with a lot of personalisation, design changes. Large sums of our design thoughts have found expression, but more of that will find their way into the app in the coming weeks,” said chief product officer at Snapdeal, Anand Chandrasekaran.
