Turns out that the Mi 5 isn’t the only big announcement from Xiaomi this year. The Chinese company’s CEO Lei Jum posted a photo of the second generation of Mi Band on a Chinese social networking site, Weibo.
Unlike the old Mi Band, the latest one sports a LED display with time and what seems like a button to change the information on display. The new band is expected to be launched at a competitive price like its predecessor and maybe even before the MIUI 8.
MIUI 8 is expected to feature Android Marshmallow and many revamped UI features like the new notification feed shared on Twitter.
The first phone to features the MIUI 8 i most likely the Mi Max -- a giant smartphone featuring a 6.4-inch display. Making it the first phablet Xiaomi is launching on May 10.
