Stop whining about the iPhone X price. It’s expensive and most of us cannot afford it, come to terms with this. The iPhone X is priced at a whopping Rs 89,000 in India. And for the top-end model, you need to shell out more than Rs 1 lakh. But what if we tell you that you can buy a brand new iPhone X cheaper and even get an international trip in the bargain? Read on for the details.

Of course, you can do a whole lot of other things with that much money. May be, you could buy five OnePlus 5 smartphones or more than 60 JioPhones. Or you can invest it somewhere and reap the benefits from interest amount. If you’re still wondering what to do with that much of money, read 10 things you can buy with Rs 89,000 instead of new iPhone X

However, if you are a true Apple loyalist, price is hardly a deterrent. After all, if you don’t have an iPhone, you don’t have an iPhone.

While iPhones are traditionally more expensive in India, prices in some markets such as Hong Kong and the UAE are a lot lesser. So, suppose you have a budget of Rs 90,000, we suggest you book a ticket to Dubai for a one-day trip. Since the iPhone X goes on sale on November 4, book the ticket for the same day and return the next day. A round trip to Dubai will cost you Rs 13,396 on Indigo if you book the tickets now. Let’s round off this figure to Rs 14,000.

Now you’re left with Rs 76,000. Do remember the iPhone X base model costs DHS 4,099, which is approximately Rs 71,400. You’re still left with roughly Rs 5,000. You can use that money for your overnight accommodation at a budget hotel. According to a listing on hotel booking website Trivago, you can stay at a 2-star hotel in Dubai for one night for as less as Rs 2,788. Rest of the money can be spent on food and perhaps shopping from the local flea market.
