Zeo
On October 26, sleep tracker Zeo is launching its newest offering: the Zeo Sleep Manager Mobile, which connects Zeo's sleep monitoring Bluetooth-powered headband to your smartphone.

For restless and weary tech geeks, companies such as FitBit and Zeo are scrambling to offer products that not
only improve your sleep but provide data-crunching fun for the daylight hours.

To use the Zeo, you'll need to strap on the headband as you crawl into bed. Upon waking, your smartphone app will have your sleep data, such as duration of REM and deep sleep, available for review and analysis. Also included is a sleep score rating the overall quality of your sleep and suggestions to improve your sleep score the next night.

Zeo works with both iPhone and Android devices and will ship October 26 in the both the US and UK for $99 (£87).

A few years ago, Zeo launched its bedside sleep monitor in the US, priced at $149 and including a wireless headband, a set of online analytical tools and an email-based personalized coaching program. October 26 marks Zeo's debut launch in the UK.

Another competitor is the Basis wrist-worn heart rate monitor and health tracker device. The new gadget is set to launch later this year for $199 (€199, with Americans enjoying a lower price point) and measures heart rate, calorie burn and sleep patterns.
