Sony announces Xperia S, Xeria P, Xperia U and Xperia Sola in India

Sony Xperia P
Sony Mobile Communications today introduced the Xperia NXT series, including the Xperia S, Xperia P and Xperia U, as well as the Xperia Sola to the Indian market at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon. The flagship smatphone Xperia S boasts of a 4.3-inch scratch resistant TFT touchscreen, along with 12.1
mega pixel camera and 1.5GHz Qualcomm dual core processor. It will be the first phone to be made available in the country since Sony Mobile Communications became a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Corporation earlier this year. Xperia P, Xperia U and Xperia Sola will be available to consumers in Q2.

Balaji, Managing Director, Sony Mobile Communications India, commented, "Now, as part of the Sony group, we are in an even stronger position to bring connected entertainment experiences to consumers in India. Bringing together the best of Sony's electronics, networked services and content, the Xperia smartphone is a cornerstone to enjoy entertainent in this connected world."

To introduce Xperia smartphones, Sony Mobile Communications has launched one of its largest brand and marketing campaigns in India called 'Made of Imagination'.
"Xperia smartphones are a cornerstone of Sony's entertainment experience and we wanted to create a campaign that is true to Sony, one that is unique, memorable and sparks consumers' curiosity and imagination. The Made of Imagination campaign demonstrates that Xperia smartphones are made of more than microprocessors and memory chips - they are designed to let consumers use their creativity and imagination to drive connected experiences that interest and excite them.
