"Battlefield 4" is to launch in late 2013 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with confirmations for the PlayStation 4 and next Xbox expected to follow in due course.
As a grand depiction of military conflict, it will face competition from this year's yet to be announced "Call of Duty" and, on PC, from "Arma III."
