Apple CEO Steve Jobs displays the new Apple TV at the news conference in San Francisco. It also unveiled a new line of iPods, including a touch-screen Nano model.
Margolis clarified, "The new UI shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. There is a clear effort at Apple to make everything match the look and feel of their popular iOS products - starting with Lion and increasing momentum with Mountain Lion. To be clear - he (Steve Jobs) didn't like the original grid. This was before the iPhone was popular and before the iPad even existed," reports PC Magazine.
The startling revelation comes hot on the heels of criticism brewing over the new Apple TV UI, which was announced at the New iPad keynote earlier this month.
