Google is not just about improving your general knowledge about the world, it is also about Googling a potential employee or that cute neighbour next door. If you are keen to know who took the pains of Googling you, there's help at hand. A new start-up promises to tell you when, where and how
someone searched for you online.

Online reputation manager BrandYourself, "helps individuals control Google results for names through SEO, launched a new feature on Tuesday that shows users where visitors to their BrandYourself profiles work and where they're located" reports Mashable.

BrandYourself built a database of organizations' publicly-available IP addresses in order to create the feature. They use it to match IP addressees of profile visitors with the companies that own those addressses.

The website was launched in March this year and since then has acquired 25,000 users.

"While 80% of the users have set up profiles, about 1,000 users have subscribed to a $10-per-month premium product that allows them to optimize unlimited links," adds Mashable.

Do you think BrandYourself is great start-up? Tell us in the comments below.
