South Korean major Samsung on Tuesday launched Galaxy Grand smartphone in India priced at Rs. 21,500.

The phone has Android Jelly Bean (4.1.2) operating system.  It boasts of a 1.2 GHz dual core processor and a 5.0-inch screen. Galaxy Grand comes with a dual-sim and
an 8 megapixel camera and a 2 mega-pixel front camera. It has internal memory of 8GB (user memory of 4GB and expandable up to 64GB).

"The Galaxy Grand will further fuel the growth of the smartphone market in India and will especially delight consumers looking for a great smart dual SIM phone," said Asim Warsi, vice-president, Samsung Mobile.
