Pasting this equation into Google's search engine will generate a love graph
Fans of technology and math feeling amorous in the lead up to Valentine's Day are causing excitement on the tech blogs with a mathematical equation that produces a romantic surprise when typed into Google.

The equation that is causing a buzz on tech blogs and media sources such
as Mashable and the National Post is as follows:

sqrt(cos(x))*cos(300x)+sqrt(abs(x))-0.7)*(4-x*x)^0.01, sqrt(6-x^2), -sqrt(6-x^2) from -4.5 to 4.5

Pasting the above equation into Google's search engine will generate a graph showing a heart at its center.

Google, know for its seasonal Doodles, did not write the equation and it is currently unclear who the mathematical romantic behind the formula is, though Twitter user @Huckberry was responsible for bringing it to the attention of blogs such as Mashable.

Google is well-known for creating its own Easter eggs -- for example, typing "do a barrel roll" into the search bar will make the page spin 360 degrees, and over the holiday period searching for "let it snow" would create a snowstorm effect on the screen.
