Twitter abandons TweetDeck on mobiles

Even though it bought the application in 2011, Twitter has announced that it is abandoning Tweetdeck on iOS and Android in favor of its own solution.

Tweetdeck will not be compatible with the next version of Twitter's interface and it will be taken off the App Store and Google
Play by May.

The company is expected to continue to offer TweetDeck ifor Chrome and Windows, however, having noticed different usage patterns on those platforms.
