Scheduled for a May release is the collectible retail version of "Halo: Forward Unto Dawn," a webseries that acted as a buzz-building prequel to Xbox 360 game "Halo 4."

The five-episode live-action series followed Cadet Thomas Lasky as his training academy bore the brunt of an
alien invasion, with franchise protagonist Master Chief making an appearance.

It was written by Todd and Aaron Helbing ("Smallville" and "Spartacus"), was directed by Steward Hendler of "H+" fame, and starred Tom Green (Samuel Lieberman in "Dance Academy") alongside Anna Popplewell(Susan Pevensie in "The Chronicles of Narnia" triology).

Listed on Amazon's UK branch in advance of an official annoucement, "Forward Unto Dawn" carries a May 27 release in European regions and contains a Blu-ray and DVD transfer as well as a set of four art cards, a poster, and bonus material.
