Six levels plucked from Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 3 are available for digital delivery to owners of 3DS title New Super Mario Bros. 2 in Japan until January 31, 2013.

Included in the Golden Classic Course Pack are the first level from Mario Bros., World 1-1, World
1-2 and World 1-4 from 1985 NES game Super Mario Bros. and Worlds 1-1 and 1-5 from 1988 sequel Super Mario Bros. 3.

News of New Super Mario Bros. 2's third level pack came during a Japanese Nintendo Direct presentation; though no details of an equivalent for North American and European regions had been announced at the time of writing, both previous packs were released worldwide.

Japanese users at least will be able to snag the Golden Classic Courses for free until January 31, after which the download will go for ¥200, just like the previous packs.
