The next expansion for the already sprawling Skyrim will be Dragonborn, which has been given a December 4 release date on Xbox 360.

Dragonborn means new enemies and beasts to vanquish, new environments to roam through, and the chance to take to the skies aboard Skyrim's powerful
dragons.

As has become customary for Skyrim expansion announcements, only the Xbox 360 download has been given a date and a price (1600 MS Points or around $20, €19, £14).

If previous trends play out again then Dragonborn should surface on PC within the following four to five weeks, while the PlayStation 3 version is still awaiting both of Skyrim's two earlier extra adventures, due to technical rather than contractual reasons.
