Google adds 150 university campuses to Street View

Students getting ready to go to college can now get familiarize with university campuses thanks to the new panoramic views of 150 university campuses added by Google to its Street View tool. As part of the back-to-school feature, Google is adding 150 university campuses across the world
to its Street View tool available on the Google browser and Android smartphones.

New campuses include UCLA in the US, Pembroke College in the UK, McGill University in Canada and Sophia University in Japan.

With the new additions, around 275 universities will be available on Google Street View.The list of university campuses with panoramic views on Google can be viewed here.

After using the Google car to take images of cities around the world, Google is now using tricycles to reach locations that are inaccessible by cars such as sports venues, theme parks and campuses. Photos of the university campuses were taken by Google's Street View Trike and have been used to create the virtual, interactive, 360 degree panoramic views of the campuses.
