Close on the heels of Apple iOS 5.1, the company has released iOS 5.1.1 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and also fixed many annoying bugs in the operating system.
According to Apple, the iOS 5.1.1 update will resolve issues the iPad had when it came to switching from 2G to 3G networks, fix some AirPlay video playback troubles, improve reliability of Safari and Reading List syncing, fix an issue where 'Unable to purchase' alert could be displayed after successful purchase.
The updated software can be downloaded from Apple.com, via iTunes, or over-the-air on compatible iDevices.
Apple had released the iOS 5.1 in March alongside the new iPad.
