Power struggles, murder, plots and passion -- it's all in the story trailer for the upcoming Game of Thrones video game.

It'll be the second Game of Thrones video game spin-off, and the second from French studio Cyanide, after 2011's strategy title A Game of Thrones: Genesis.

As a role-playing adventure, Game of Thrones will have to deal with recent favorites such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (created with input from fantasy author R.A. Salvatore), and Dark Souls' purgatorial challenge.

Game of Thrones is due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012.
