Life seems to have come full circle for Sudesh Berry. The man with the baritone, who has done numerous films and popular TV shows, such as Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, will be seen on the tube again, after a gap of two years.

Apart from playing a serial killer on a crime-fiction show, Arjun, the actor has also bagged an important role in Sidharth Kumar Tewary’s upcoming version of the
Indian epic, Mahabharat. Interestingly, the actor previously played a smaller character, Vichitraveera — who is King Shantanu’s third son — in BR Chopra’s version of the Mahabharat.

Sidharth, the producer of the new show, says,“Sudesh will be playing Drupad — who is princess Draupadi’s father. Sudesh is a fabulous actor and has always done justice to the roles we have developed for him. Hopefully, the audiences will enjoy this new avatar as well.”

Many popular faces will be seen in this version of the Mahabharat, including Sameer Dharmadikari, Shaheer Sheikh, Sayantani Ghosh, Saurabh Raj Jain, Veebha Anand, Arav Choudhary and Puneet Issar, who also played Duryodhana in Chopra’s Mahabharat.
