Game of Thrones really knows how to keep its fans on the very edge of their seats.
The series is taking a break next week for Memorial Day weekend which is observed in the USA as a dedication to the men and women who died in the service of the country.
It's celebrated on the final Monday of every May and hence HBO has decided to make its fans wait another week for episode 8 'The Mountain and the Viper'.
Fans have been waiting eagerly for the episode which will decide Tyrion's fate in the trial by combat. Last week, fans were pleasantly surprised after Prince Oberyn of Dorne volunteered as the Imp's champion against Ser Gregor Clegane aka 'The Mountain', notorious for killing men like flies.
The duel will be an interesting one since Prince Oberyn has certain personal vendettas to take care of, against the Lannisters and especially Clegane. Mr Mountain had raped and killed Oberyn's sister Elia and her children when King's Landing was attacked during Robert Baratheon's rebellion.
Looks like the break is coming after the series aired its second season's ninth episode - Blackwater - during Memorial Day weekend and ergo ended up getting the the season's lowest ratings.
Usually, the ninth episodes are notorious for leaving fans in a state of shock, case in point - Ned Stark's beheading and the (unforgettable) Red Wedding.
Game of Thrones will now return on June 1. Until then, fans will have to make do with this very awesome preview of The Mountain and the Viper:
