Meeting her boyfriend Sangram Singh after two months, for a task at the Big Boss house, left Payal Rohatgi feeling emotional. “I’m happy I could see him after so long," says Payal, who feels that this season, people are much more opinionated.
“He’s a simple person who likes to stay away from issues, but his love for peace is misunderstood as people think he doesn’t take a stand,” says Payal, defending Sangram, who has to explain himself in the house whenever he doesn’t take a stand. “It’s not necessary for everyone to love fighting and arguing. He’s a non-controversial guy. Elli Avram’s friendship with Sangram was one of the highlights of the show. It seemed she was smitten by him. Did that make Payal insecure?
“Not at all. I blindly trust Sangram. He considers, and even called Elli his kid sister on the show. Their bond was very sweet and I am glad he found confidants in Elli and Andy in the house. At the end of the day, you need someone who listens to you with no judgement. I felt bad when Elli left, as she was his support.”
Ask Payal about marriage plans and she says, “It will happen when it happens. We live together and are happy in a committed relationship for two years now. Our families know about us, and we are focusing on our careers.”
