Aam Aadmi Party leader Kumar Vishwas has been invited to star in what is probably Indian television's most controversial reality show, Bigg Boss.

Speaking on behalf of Vishwas, his manager Prabudh told HT, "Yes, he has been offered the show and this is the third or fourth year that he has been approached."

"We are still talking and nothing is concrete as yet. We want a platform where we can speak out and they (Bigg Boss producers) should not edit it out. Kumar Vishwas does not want to go for a scripted show. However, they have not agreed to this condition in the past, let's see if they do this time," the manager added.

Kumar Vishwas could not personally respond to the query as he has left for a month-long trip to the US.

Colors TV, which airs Bigg Boss, refused to comment on the issue.

He has reportedley been offered Rs 5 crore by Bigg Boss producers.

Kumar Vishwas fought the general elections earlier this year from Amethi, taking on Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi. The AAP leader lost his security deposit.

Hosted by Salman Khan for more than five years now, Bigg Boss is a desi version of international reality show Big Brother. Politicians such as Sanjay Nirupam, Swami Agnivesh and Navjot Singh Sidhu were part of earlier seasons of the show.
