Ronit Roy has been part of popular court room drama Adaalat for the past three- and-a-half years. Now it seems he is taking his association with the serial to another level. Apparently, he has directed an episode in this TV show recently.

A source says, "He directed an episode and the shoot went smoothly. With such a senior actor at the helm, it was fun shooting for the show."

Apparently, in the past, Ronit had done a course in direction, and harboured aspirations to direct. But ask Ronit about his recent stint and he refutes the news, saying, "I am very busy acting,  and have no interest in direction. If and when needed, I help the director. Whenever anyone gets stuck, I am there to help them. That’s all."

The show’s producer, Abhimanyu Singh, remained unavailable for a comment.

Back in 2009, Ronit Roy had directed a few episodes of Ekta Kapoor’s Bandini, but it was more of a stopgap arrangement when the show was going through a change of directors.

Besides his TV commitments, the actor is also busy with his Bollywood projects. "I am off to Wai to shoot for a big film," he says, without revealing details.
