Heart-touching scenes, brilliant performances and a pacy plot was what Ritu had on offer in the fifth episode of his TV series Yudh.
The plot picked up pace, revealing Yudh's illness (Hunttington, a disease caused due to genetic disorder) to his family and close friend Anand. While the second wife and son are kept in the dark about this, aloof from the revelation, the daughter Taruni (Aahana Kumari finds out about it and cries her heart out. Watch: The Making of Yudh
This revelation brings forth some heart-touching, brilliant performances on the show: especially Aahana who plays the deserted daughter's role to perfection, brilliantly essaying the emotions a girl would go through when told her dad is dying.
Amitabh Bachchan too was spectacular in the sequence where he suffered an attack: the aged eyes, pain and suffering that he had on his face were heart-wrenching.
As for the plot, Ribhu Dasgupta pacifies all the fans complaining about the serial's slow pace. Monday's episode was immensely interesting, picking up speed, revealing new conspiracies and villains, and even uncovered all the sabotage sabotage theories around Yudh
The police commissioner's (Kay Kay Menon) role adds to the drama: he is clearly the villain of the piece and siding with the corrupt contractor. The accident of Yudh's doctor is a twist that would keep the audience rivetted for a long time.
We love the suspense and thrill. Keep up the pace!
