‘New king of Roland Garros’: Twitter on Djokovic’s historic French Open win

Novak Djokovic joined the tennis greats on Sunday when he defeated Andy Murrayto claim his maiden French Open title and to become the third player ever to hold all four grand slams at the same time.

Novak Djokovic joined the tennis greats on Sunday when he defeated Andy Murray 3-6 6-1 6-2 6-4 to claim his maiden French Open title and to become the third player ever to hold all four grand slams at the same time.

Since losing the 2015 final in Paris, Djokovic has won 28 Grand Slam matches in a row, from Wimbledon and the U.S. Open last year, to the Australian Open in January, and now, at long last, the French Open.
