Row over naming of Kerala science institute campus after RSS ideologue

The Left has suggested the new campus be named after Dr Palpu, who was the chief medical officer of the erstwhile Mysore kingdom.

Union health minister Harsh Vardhan on Friday said the first phase of Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology’s new campus was ready and it will be named after Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar, who headed the RSS until the 1970s.(PTI)

2022 UP polls in mind, BJP gives Sunil Bansal two deputies from RSS

After four BJP-ruled states declared their intent to frame laws to prevent religious conversions through coercion or deception in marriage, the party’s ideological mentor, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), is exerting pressure on other states to bar the practice they have dubbed “love jihad”.
