The Mumbai Police have declared that a letter accusing three senior officers of rape and harassment, supposedly written by eight women constables, is fake. The police have investigated the matter and found that the constables did not write the letter and their names and signatures were used without their knowledge. The allegations are completely false and it is believed that some anti-social elements are responsible for the act. The Maharashtra State Commission for Women has requested a detailed report from the police regarding the matter.
