Must See: The Burj Khalifa i s the tallest building in the world. It has an observation deck on the 124th floor, made o f concrete as a security measure. They say that even i f a plane collides into it, nothing will happen. The structure i s made keeping the desert lily in mind. On the ground floor there are pictures of the masons, carpenters, workers, gardeners who made this building.
Must Vist: At the Atlantis in Palm Jumeirah, I can't help being fascinated by the water world. There are so many species of fishes, their size shape colour and habits. Everything is so intriguing. The waterpark there i s just as much fun, as it is waking up to one's private beach. The view i s spectacular.
Must Try: Food in Dubai is never a problem. The marina beachfront boasts of so many restaurants with different cuisines that you can take your pick from the wide variety for lunch and dinner for a month and still not repeat a restaurant. The most breathtaking place is, of course, the Madinat Jumeirah. My best friend's hubby took us to the restaurant situated in the resort called Pierchic. The view was sublime.
The nightlife i n Dubai is rocking. The Buddha Bar at the Grosvenor House, the Calabar at The Address, the Jambase and Trader's Cic at the Madinat Jumeirah, the Armani Hotel and of course individual lounge bars like the Caramel and many more make sure you never have a dull night.
Must Buy: Dubai Mall is the largest mall in the world and has a wide variety right from the big brands to the lesser-known ones and even the local boutique outlets. The prices would suit pockets of high spenders, as well as, budget shoppers. The candy store made m e wish I were a child again.
