Disney Channel is taking all the right steps in all the right directions with it’s upcoming reboot of hit 90’s cartoon show, Duck Tales.
In a latest video released by the channel, the new voice-cast is introduced singing the original theme of the show and it is studded with stars. Community’s Danny Pudi will be Huey, Ben Schwartz of Parks and Recreation will be Duey and Bobby Moynihan of SNL will be Louie. The biggest surprise, of course, is David Tennant getting the role of Scrooge McDuck. Tennant is known around the world for playing the Tenth Doctor on BBC’s Doctor Who, Kilgrave on Netlfix’s Jessica Jones and also Barty Crouch Jr in Harry Potter.
Kate Micucci will also join them as Webby Vanderquack
It is for the first time that such big names from the entertainment industry have come together for a cartoon show.
Duck Tales was about three little naughty ducks and their miserly old uncle. Together, they would travel around the world and go on adventures to make Scrooge’s treasure bigger. The series will air in the summer of 2017.
