Mazhar Syed says nothing went wrong in Nach Baliye 4. The actor and his girlfriend Mouli Ganguly have been evicted from the reality show... the episode airs today on Star Plus.

Syed says that it looked as if viewers hardly voted for them. Was this because they didn’t promote themselves enough? The Saat Phere actor doesn’t think so. “We were always appreciated by the public... I’ve been told that Mouli and I’d make it to the final three jodis. I guess the praise didn’t translate into as many votes,” he smiles.

The judges, Arjun Rampal, Karisma Kapoor and Farah Khan, too appreciated the jodi’s hatke performances. Syed says he has no regrets at being ousted. “We enjoyed ourselves... we spent a lot of time together. And I got to play so many roles through our performances.” The actor adds that he isn’t a good dancer and Ganguly would often cover up for his mistakes.

Syed admits that he had been approached to participate in Seasons Two and Three as well but didn’t take it on because, he claims, he isn’t too media-savvy: “This time around, we decided to take the plunge and are happy for it. The channel has been great to us and stood by their word. There was no unnecessary drama.”
