Meghna Naidu seeks new pastures now that she has been evicted from the show Fear Factor: Khatron ke Khiladi......Roshmila Bhattacharya speaks to her.

Now that you’re out of Fear Factor, the buzz is that you’ll be in Bigg Boss.
Who told you that? So it is true? You’ll have to wait and watch.

Would Bigg Boss be more daunting than Fear Factor?
Bigg Boss would be 120 times tougher, with 30 cameras monitoring your moves 24 x 7 for 80 days. It’s crazy! You either want to kill yourself or kill someone else. During Season 1, I had my bets on Rakhi Sawant and Ravi Kissen.. even Carol Gracias. But Rahul Roy was the winner. The verdict was a shocker!

What was your response to Shilpa Shetty winning Big Brother?
I didn’t see Big Brother but hats off to Shilpa. At least in India we know our fellow contestants. But Shilpa mustn’t even have heard of Jade Goody when she did the show.

Was the injury you suffered on Fear Factor for real?
Of course, I hit my pelvic bone and couldn’t walk for a fortnight. I was in bed for 10 days.

So Sonali Kulkarni was right to send you packing?
Yes, even though both she and I bonded really well. We’d chatter away in Marathi. But if I’d been standing there with Pooja (Bedi) and Urvashi (Sharma) and not in hospital, I’d still have been on the show. It was unfortunate that even after getting back on a wild card and doing that really difficult rope stunt to prove I was as strong as the others, I had to go. Even Akshay Kumar was surprised when I pulled off that rope trick. It was easy after the first two minutes. It was the water stunts that got to me, I hate being under water.

Akshay Kumar seemed to favour the other girls?
No, for Akshay all 13 of us were equal. If at times he showed his disappointment, was because he felt we could be better. When you were leaving the first time you mentioned that some of the girls would be happy to see you go.

The second time when Sonali announced your name, one of the contestant was seen mouthing “Thank God?” Were you much-loved or much –hated?
(Laughs) Neither. It’s a competition and everyone wants to win. I think even I would have said “Thank God” if I saw a stronger contestant going out. Overall, it’s a fair game. You can’t cheat.. and you need luck. I hope they invite me back for Season 2. I love the thrill, even getting injured is worth it. And maybe I’ll be third time lucky.

Any action movies coming up?
I’m in talks for a couple of movies. And you’ll see more of me on TV. After Fear Factor a lot of people have suddenly woken up to the fact that I still exist.

What about a soap?
(Laughs) That would test my patience. I can’t see myself working 20 hours for months at a stretch. I’d do a saas-bahu only on my terms. But I wouldn’t mind a dance reality show. Dancing is my forte and I’d be on a non-khatra terrain.
