The legendary actor par excellence Amitabh Bachchan has enthralled viewers for decades now, both on the big screen and the small. This time round, he is all set to feature as the main lead in a daily soap.
Apparently, Bachchan, who recently wrapped up the sixth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, is preparing to star in a daily soap that is set to go on air later this year. Though details of the show are being kept tightly under wraps, sources close to the project say, that it will be produced by the megastar's own company AB Corp.
Though the auditions for the show are currently under way at several studios in Andheri, the show itself will be made on a massive budget. Buzz is that even though Big B will be the face of the serial, he may not make an appearance in every episode. At the same time, he will do all that he can to promote the serial.

Lata Mangeshkar reveals her plans of singing with Big B
Lata Mangeshkar talks about her plans for her music label LM Music...
Congratulations, you've launched your own record label L M Music. What are your plans for your music company? I believe you will now be singing with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan?
Yes! I want to sing with Amitji for sure. We had come together for a duet Yeh Kahan Aa Gye Hum in Yash Chopraji's film Silsila many years ago. But we didn't record it together. I had sung my portion. And later Amitji had recited Javed Saab's poetry.
What would you be recording with Mr. Bachchan?
I believe he is keen to do shlokas of Lord Tirupati with me. I'd love to do this project with him. I've spoken to him about it already. He has also been kind enough to give the voiceover for an album of devotional songs by Suresh Wadkar released on our label. Suresh had recorded the Kabir Bhajans many years ago but never released the album. When I heard them I thought they just needed some brushing up. That's where Bachchan Saab's commentary came in.
