Thrilled by the response to his Indian remake of an American TV show 24, Anil Kapoor had wasted no time in announcing its second season. However, film commitments took up most of his time thereafter, but the actor is finally gearing up to start working on the next season.
Work on the series is underway, but is at a nascent stage. "Once the story is in place, we will pace up to start our production," says a source from the channel that airs the series.
Apparently, Anil’s film shoots required him to travel for the past few months, and he will start shooting for the show once he is done with those commitments. The source adds, "The series is planned for next year, so we have some time. Once the story is decided, the casting process and shoot will follow. Based on the story, a decision will be taken about whether to film it entirely in Mumbai or elsewhere."
When contacted, Anil confirms the story, saying, "We are starting the second season soon. We have begun the pre-production work; we even had a meeting on Thursday (October 16). The first season came out to be fantastic; I am excited about the second as well."
