Soni, who has mostly played serious roles in his earlier plays, says, "This is my first commercial play. The humour in it is amazing and the audience will surely like my character. The perception that I only do serious plays will change after this."

The writer of the play, Sanjay Jha, says the script of the act is such that even serious situations will force people to laugh. "There is a lot of humour in it. Even situations like re-marriage and divorce will be presented in a funny manner," says Jha.

Talking about her character and the experience of associating with Soni in this play, Bansal says, "I love doing theatre. It’s after a long time that I am playing a comic character. Anup is very spontaneous in his acting and I am certain that people will enjoy watching us together."

The play will premiere on April 27, at Rangsharda, Bandra (W), at 7.45 pm.
