While love seems to bloom with every passing day in the Bigg Boss house, the TV actor couple Apurva and Shilpa Agnihotri chose to draw a line when it came to PDA. “We chose to draw a line even though we are married, because my in-laws in Kanpur and my folks in Dehradun are watching it,” says Shilpa, who got evicted from the show on Saturday.
While talking about the talked-about closeness of actors Tanishaa Mukherji and Armaan Kohli, she says, “I can talk for myself, I won’t comment on anyone else. But yes, when you know you’re being watched by cameras and still choose to cuddle and kiss, then you better be prepared to face the world. It’s a reality show after all.”
So, was she expecting this eviction? “Yes, actually! Since Apurva and I were not giving the right content (read cat fights and verbal arguments), this was sure to happen,” she says. Calling VJ Andy her best friend in the house, she says, “After Apurva, Andy was my friend. It’s tough to find friends there as everyone is playing the game.” In the last few episodes, Shilpa and Tanishaa were seen settling some differences, so what was that? “I always spoke to her politely, until, of course, the last task when she overreacted as a bystander! She is a totally lost girl and needs to get a hold of herself. She is a friend no doubt, but is in a game at the same time,” she says.
Calling Armaan the smartest player, she says, “He is the smartest of all. He’s had his share of highs and lows in the house though.” In her opinion, her husband Apurva deserves to win the most. “A good guy should win! It’s very difficult to remain at peace inside that house, but he manages it so well each time. I think he deserves to win the most.”
She plans to meet her in-laws now and wishes Apurva all the luck. “Ab to Apurva ka band bajega uss ghar mein, but I wish him all the luck. He’s so calm, he deserves to win the show,” she concludes.
