Beg, borrow or steal?

Despite hundreds of popular Bollywood rain numbers, daily soap borrows a song from an unreleased Bengali film to be dubbed in Hindi soon…Tsk!

Daily soaps are known to use popular Hindi tracks depending on the situation, including rain scenes, romantic scenes and separation to name a few. This time, a show called Niyati on Sahara One, has decided to move in a different direction.

The show’s producers have used a song from an unreleased and unheard of Bengali film called Murder, to be dubbed in Hindi as Mad. The song has been specially created for the dubbed version.

Does anyone care for such novelty? Also, while shooting the romantic rain number, the lead actors of the show, who apparently don’t see eye to eye, had to emote as if they were deeply in love. In order to avoid probing on the hate-love chemistry off and on screen, the actors had ensured that there were only select crewmembers on the sets that day. Tsk!
