Bhagat faces his ‘biggest’ hater

When writer Chetan Bhagat wrote Five Point Someone, he couldn’t have imagined that eight years from then, he will be brought face to face with his biggest hater, who not only believes that Bhagat knows nothing about good writing but also accuses him of writing a sentence in his book, Five Point Someone, that is full of sexual overtones.



Meet animation designer Roshini Sharma who loves to hate Bhagat. In the reality show, Love 2 Hate U, that airs on Star World, celebrities are brought face to face with their biggest hater and if there ever was a benchmark set for hate, Sharma would set that mark. With her intelligence and confidence, she stood by her belief that the content in Bhagat’s books is ordinary and people who read his books because of word of mouth, have a "herd mentality".



Chetan BhagatChetan’s books, according to Sharma, are popular because he targets markets with a well thought-out and calculated process and concludes, "He is a good marketeer but not a good writer."



However, when Bhagat is asked for his opinions about his ardent hater, he calmly replies "All I have done is followed my passion; only in my case it’s worked for me." He further adds, "The funny thing is I do not react to criticism, but even that is seen as arrogance."
