Comedian Bharti Singh hopes that fellow comedy artists Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover will end their ugly spat, and get together to recreate magic onscreen. “I have heard about their fight but can’t comment much on the whole issue before I speak with them individually. Personally, I know them too well to call them up and ask what actually happened. Kapil Sharma ji is my teacher. Without him I wouldn’t have been where I am today. For the last six-seven years, I’ve been really good friends with Sunil too. I’ve enjoyed working with both of them. I love them a lot. I hope everything gets sorted soon,” says Bharti.
The much-talked about Kapil Sharma-Sunil Grover spat took a new turn recently when reports started doing the rounds that Sunil is planning to boycott and quit The Kapil Sharma Show. Also, viewers might see new faces replacing some more cast members including Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar. For the uninitiated, Kapil had abused and insulted Sunil and other co-stars on a flight from Australia to India, leading both to talk about it on social media.
When asked about reports that the two might never work together again, Bharti adds, “Both of them are very chilled out. I felt really bad when I heard the news of them planning to part ways and honestly, I don’t want them to. I know they are good friends and together they have given such a hit show. I have a feeling that things will soon be alright between them and they will work together again.”
Bharti also says that for the last three years, Kapil has never let any other show to be as popular as his. She is keeping her fingers crossed that along with Sunil, he will continue to work on the show as everyone is waiting for them to come back together.
