Fans of reality show Bigg Boss can’t wait to watch the grand premiere of the tenth season on Sunday night.
The makers of the show earlier the names of contestants shortlisted for the “common people” category inside the house. Manoj Punjabi, Mandira Chauhan, Nitibha Kaul, Parmod Kumar, Lokesh Kumari, Firoz Khan, Nikhil Mehta, Manjo Kumar, Kajol Tyagi, Davinder Devgan, Navin Prakash, Ruchika Singh and Priyanka Jagga are the shortlisted candidates for Bigg Boss 10. Of these, Nitibha Kaul, Manoj Punjabi, Manveer Gurjar, Lokesh Kumari Sharma, Priyanka Jagga, Akansha Sharma and Om Swami make it to inside the show finally on Sunday evening.

The model-anchor, of MTV Roadies fame, has often featured in the probables list of Bigg Boss candidates but has never made it all the way inside the house . It remains to be seen whether she will be a participant this year.
2. Rohan Mehra
Another TV actor rumoured to be one of the few celebs on Bigg Boss 10 is Rohan Mehra, best known for his role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
3. Rahul Dev
Rahul Dev, best known for villainous roles he has essayed in several Bollywood films, is also likely to participate in Bigg Boss 10.
4. Gaurav Chopra
TV actor Gaurav Chopra may become one of the celeb contestants on Bigg Boss this year. He has earlier participated in reality shows Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Nach Baliye.
5. Lopamudra Raut
Model Lopamudra Raut, who represented India at the Miss United Continents 2016 pageant, is likely to contest in Bigg Boss 10.
6. Karan Mehra
TV actor Karan Mehra, who is best known for his role in Yeh Rishta Kyaa Kehlata Hai, will also be seen on Bigg Boss this year.
7. Mona Lisa
Bhojpuri actor Antara Biswas aka Mona Lisa will be seen contesting the game in Bigg Boss 10.She has featured in more than 50 Bhojpuri films and has also worked in other regional films including Bengali, Oriya, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu films.
The makers also approached many other celebrities including actor Kabir Bedi and activist Trupti Desai but they refused the offers.
Bigg Boss is on the lines of the British television show Big Brother. The show’s format keeps participants locked inside a house for three months with no access to the outside world.
At the end of the last season in January this year, Bigg Boss producers invited general public to register for the show. However, with the TRPs falling for past few years, celebs and controversial characters will be brought in as wild card entries and guests.
