Actor Puneet Issar, who was evicted from Bigg Boss 8 two days ago, will be back on the show on Wednesday's episode.
Sources close to the channel reveal that the 54-year-old will be brought in a cage, and will have to stay inside it for an indefinite period of time.
Known best for his portrayal of the character of Duryodhana in a TV adaptation (1988–1990) of Mahabharat, Puneet hit co-contestant Arya Babbar during a task and threw him on the ground.
"After this incident, Puneet was asked to leave the
house around 11pm on Monday night for his violent behaviour. He was put up in a hotel on Tuesday, and was neither given his phone, nor allowed to speak to his family members. He was apologetic and pleaded that he be given another chance. He has been given a strict warning and will be sent back on the show but in a cage. He’ll not be allowed to talk to any of the inmates," said the source.
The controversial show has in the past seen several contestants including Kushal Tandon, Armaan Kohli, Pooja Missra and Dolly Bindra being thrown out of the show for being violent, only to make a comeback as a wild card entry, later.
