Prince Narula won Bigg Boss 9 on Saturday but there were 6 more contestants who could have given him stiff competition. Only they were unceremoniously evicted! (Colors)

Bigg Boss 9 threw us enough surprises via its evictions to keep us off balanced. All the strong contenders went out one by one, leaving us with a one-sided finale battle between Prince Narula and Rishabh Sinha in the end. Had any of these 6 contestants been still there in the reckoning, the outcome could have been different.

We bring you six people who we think could have made for a Bigg Boss 9 winner…

Kishwar Merchant left Bigg Boss 9 for her rakhi brother, Prince. (Colors)

Kishwar Merchant: The ticket to finale task came out of nowhere and took away one of the strongest contestants on the show. Kishwar and Prince were forced to go head-to-head in the task with condition that only one of them could go on to the final. Bigg Boss gave the other contestant the option to leave with Rs 15 lakh. Kishwar, who considered Prince her brother, decided to walk out with the money.

Priya Malik kept us entertained. (Colors)

Priya Malik: No one thought that Priya Malik, a wild card entrant, would emerge as such a strong contestant. She was not only a good player but she was the only person in the house who managed to entertain us to some extent. Her sometimes weird and rigid behaviour made us watch the show and left us asking for more. People were rooting for her to win the show when lo, she was also evicted.

Yuvika could have been the Gauhar of Bigg Boss 9. (Colors)

Yuvika Chaudhary: Well, we all remember the Prince-Yuvika episode where Prince proposed to her on national television with a heart-shaped paratha. Things were just getting spicy and we were waiting to see more romance in the coming days, maybe a repeat of Gauhar-Kushal, when Yuvika got evicted. With that, yet another good contestant was sent packing.

Aman was the most committed contestant. (Colors)

Aman Verma: This one was a real shocker. A strategic and calculated player, Aman was really serious about the show. He even took the tasks pretty seriously unlike other laid-back contestants. For the task Hotel BB9, he even shaved his head when he was asked to. Quite popular in the TV world, he could easily have joined other TV stars who went on to win the earlier seasons. Alas, his eviction put paid to any such plans.

Ankit Gera left before contestants showed their real colours. (Colors)

Ankit Gera: So the show has just begun and everyone had not even started being their real self when this eviction happened. We were excited to see how things would shape up between ex-partners Rupal Tyagi and Ankit Gera when, bam, Ankit Gera was voted out. He, with some help from Rupal, could have created a lot of masala for us this season. And, who knows, actually have won in the end?
