Bobbee darlingTelevision actor Bobbee Darling now has a following in Pakistan. Bobbee has just returned from Pakistan after co-hosting six episodes of the country’s popular chat show, Late Night Show, with Begum Nawazish Ali. The episodes are already on air in Pakistan and the overwhelming response has led its UK-based producer Sevy Ali, who also co-ordinated Bobbee’s presence on the show, to cast her in another chat show beginning next month.

An excited Bobbee says, “The experience of working with Begum Nawazish (the cross-dressing chat show host) and interviewing celebrities — Adnan Siddiqui, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Meera, Maria Vatsi, Humayun Sayyed and Sahir Lodhi — was wonderful. In the shows, I wore really short dresses and initially Begum Nawazish was aghast.”

Apart from co-hosting the show, in the two weeks that Bobbee spent in Karachi, she partied hard, went shopping, made friends and even visited a Shiv temple. Sevy says, “The audience has liked Bobbee’s episodes, that’s why I want her to anchor a chat show in Pakistan. We start shooting next month. It would be a first of its kind.”
