A source from Colors, the channel airing the desi Fear Factor produced by Endemol, says that it was the model’s last minute decision to drop out of the weekend comedy show. “More than the money, it’s the platform the show will give her that lured her in,” adds our source, on the condition of anonymity.

Actor-dancer Kashmera Shah who was last seen semi-nude in her calendar, and on TV show, Love Lock-Up with boyfriend Krushna Abhishek, joined the bandwagon. The sixth name in the list is Mauli Dave, discovered in 2007 on Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and touted by judge Bappi Lahiri as the Indian Shakira.
The other contestants on the show, that brings Akshay Kumar back as the anchor after a break last season when Priyanka Chopra came on to up the fear factor, are Aashka Goradia, who was last seen as Kalavati in Lagi Tujhse Lagan and discovered on Kkusum. Item dancer and Bhojpuri actor Sambhavna Seth, Balika Vadhu’s young mother-in-law Smita Bansal, model Alecia Raut, Indian women’s cricket team’s former captain Anjum Chopra and MTV VJ Mia are the others on the list.
