Singer Cheryl Cole is returning to the talent hunt show X-Factor after recovering from malaria this week.
The 27-year-old has spoken to the bosses of the reality show about making her comeback on Friday.
"Cheryl loves the show and is desperate to get back to work," dailystar.co.uk quoted a source as saying. "She’s under doctor’s orders to take it easy. But it’s a big step that she’s back on board."
Cole, who pulled out of the final auditions due to her illness, has also been texting judge Simon Cowell, 50, warning him not to nab all the best acts.
"She has put all her energy into getting better and it’s paid off. Simon has told her he can’t wait to have her back," said a friend.
